All learners learn in a safe and nurturing environment. The differentiated SID CAPS Curriculum which includes First and Additional Languages, Mathematics, Life Skills, Creative Arts, and our three Electives are Agriculture, Consumer Studies and Ancillary Health Care.
All learners participate in the education programme. Some learners need more support than others, therefore, activities are broken down to its very basic components. This results in learners being eager to participate and positive about achieving success. The analogy of ‘eating the elephant, piece by piece’ is important to the learner and educator. What may seem impossible to do, becomes possible when someone does it. Acknowledgement of the learners, and praise for their success by the educators and peers is the cornerstone of their growth.
